MOHD HARRIS MOHAN was born in Kuantan, Pahang Darul Makmur on 16 December 1957 and received both his primary and secondary education in Mahmud Primary School, Dato’ Shahbandar Hussain Secondary School and Mahmud Secondary School, all in Raub, Pahang Darul Makmur. Completed 11 years of primary and secondary education in 9 years.
Was employed as an office boy in the legal firm of Messrs. Gill & Tang, Kuala Lumpur from 1979 till 1984, a clerk in Messrs. Lawrence Dhillon & Associates, Kuala Lumpur from 1984 till 1986 and until 1988 was a chief clerk in Messrs. Othman Hashim & Chen, Kuala Lumpur. Became an auctioneer in 1988 in the states of Pahang Darul Makmur, Melaka, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Selangor Darul Ehsan and Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus practicing under the name and style of Harris & Co.
Commenced part-time degree course in law with Goon Institution Kuala Lumpur in year 1995 and obtained a second class lower LL.B (Hons) degree from Anglia Polytechnic University, Chelmsford, Essex, England in 1997 as an internal student.
Completed the dreaded CLP examination in 1998 and was called to the Malaysian Bar in August 1999. Mohd Harris is also a life member of the Honorable Society of the Middle Temple, United Kingdom.
Mohd Harris is recognized as being amongst the top civil lawyer in the country and had on many occasions been appointed to lead civil litigation for legal firms within and without Kuala Lumpur. He specializes in litigation touching and concerning the obtaining of injunctions, certiorari, mandamus and other prerogative orders. Mohd Harris also has vast experience in foreclosure litigation both in the Land Office and the Courts. Mohd Harris is also presently involved in some high profile litigation cases.
Mohd Harris was instrumental in the preparation of Sale and Purchase Agreements for firms such as the Low Yat Group of Companies, Kuala Lumpur and Lasarim Group of Companies, Kuala Lumpur.
Mohd Harris has on several occasions managed to free suspects from criminal charges in criminal litigation and has handled cases involving the mandatory death sentence.
Least to say, Mohd Harris, as a person who grew up in legal firms from the lowest appointments, not only has experience in advocacy as an advocate and solicitors, but also in the preparation on documentations and other clerical needs of a legal firm. .
SYAHIRA ALIA SA'ADON

SYAHIRA ALIA SA'ADON obtained her law degree with Honours from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam in 2020. Alia was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in October 2021.
Alia underwent her pupillage in Harmy Yusoff and Azli from October 2021 until December 2021. During Alia's pupilage period, Alia was attached to the Corporate and Conveyancing department where Alia routinely drafted, vetted and reviewed commercial contracts and/or agreements including the Master Service Agreement, Supplemental Agreement, Non-Disclosure Agreement and Joint Venture Agreement. Alia also rendered legal opinions to the corporate clients of the firm. In the conveyancing field, Alia's work scope included the preparation of Sales and Purchase Agreements, preparation of Charge and annexure, Discharge of Charge and other security documentations suiting the banker’s needs. Alia is also experienced in handling probate matters.
Having exposed herself to the corporate and conveyancing department, Alia then continued her pupillage in the Chambers of Mohd Harris where Alia was attached to the litigation department – her area of interest. Here, Alia was given the opportunity to handle defamation cases, suits relating to personal injuries, debt recovery which included the drafting of cause papers, preparing interlocutory applications, attending to case management and complying with the pre-trial case management directions.
Upon admission to the Malaysian Bar, and noticing Alia's potential in litigation, conveyancing and corporate, Alia was absorbed as a partner in The Law Office of Mohd Harris.
Presently Alia's focuses on all aspects of conveyancing.
Alia holds credence to the principle that any task given can be completed with persistence and hard work.
